How long do you wait to find out if you failed in CA? All of the people I've talked to that have passed have known b/c they search "Permanent License Verification" on www.rn.ca.gov. The results have shown up within 4 business days. However, no one knows how long, (and how you are notified,) of failing the NCLEX...

Average time for posting results for RN takes 3-10 days, if in a busy period and this time of the year comes into the equation then you can be looking at a longer period as all results are checked by hand and if your file is not complete ie transcripts not sent or problem with fingerprints that will also cause delays. I think stuff tends to be mailed after 2 weeks

Average wait time is ten days to see your name up there, not three or four days. And it can take up to a month.
Depends on if your file is complete or not, and we recommend never contacting them before two weeks time to check on that. Could be something with fingerprints, or something similar.
Each file is treated on its own and reviewed by a human, you do not know where your file is on their desk.
Best of luck to you.
