How long between graduation and taking NCLEX?

just wondering how long those of you out there took or are taking between passing nursing school & taking the nclex. also, how long would you recommend studying per day? (i am not working yet).

Its best that u test as soon as possible while everything is fresh in your head

From what I have read the sooner you take it the better the chances of passing. Since I had spent the last couple of years preparing I did both my LPN and RN NCLEX within 3 weeks of graduating. Good luck to everyone testing.

I too have heard to take it ASAP however I do not want to "waste" my turn and have to wait to take it a second time. I am not sure what I should do.
