Almost 10 years! is a career switch...and i failed first time...lets see the 2nd time what i`ll do:bugeyes:

Specializes in Clinical Decision Unit.

I took mine on the actual day that I graduated on 5/8/08 and passed.:yeah:

Hello room, i'm new to this forum. I took the nclex on feb 08,2008, got my results back that sat at 9:30 am. I graduated dec 17,07 and after taking sylvia rayfield's review class( i highly recommend it!) i waited about a month to take the nclex. My rationale for doing so is from all the test prep materials and instructors i spoke to told me that it is good to attempt about 3,000-5,000 questions before the test.

So you liked Sylvia Raefield? I am taking her class next week and then the week after I am taking the NCLEX. I had to do 1300 ?s before I graduated with a score of 85 or better and I am still doing NCLEX ?s so hopefully I am on my way to being well prepared.....

Specializes in ICU, SDU, OR, RR, Ortho, Hospice RN.

Yup totally agree.

Got mine done within the week of receiving my CGFNS certificate.

Crazy coming from Australia and having to go the CGFNS Route!!

I reckon we should be able to study then do the NCLEX personally :D

hey your on the right track... rayfield helped me alot. for example the 12 cranial nerves... they have little sayings and ways to remember the things that i had a little trouble with in school like the difference between myastheina gravis and gulleium barrie'(forgive the spelling). I can't tell you about the suzianne plan because i had never heard of it until i started looking at this forum. I think Rayfield is well worth the money.
