Hello dear Nurses,
I am registered Nurse in New york but live in NJ. So, I want to endorse my license for New Jersey. I tried to get direction in various NJ Nursing websites such as NJBON but did not get the clear idea. I am sure people might have similar issues and wondering like myself. So, can care to put some useful information so that Nurse like myself and others can take the golden opportunity to help who are in need.
I appreciate your help in advance.

I typed the words English Language Proficiency BON NJ into Google and found this website New Jersey Nursing License | Requirements in NJ
Specifically, found this - [h=2]"International RNs[/h]Internationally educated nurses have two preliminary steps before they complete the application, do the criminal background check, and take the NCLEX. They must have their coursework evaluated by the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS). They will also need to take an English proficiency exam, and have scores sent to the CGFNS.
There is a total of $225 due to the New Jersey Board by international candidates who are applying for license by examination."
Hi, Extra Pickles,
Thank you for words. The scenario of mine is like I am applying NJ for license by endorsement. I already did coursework evaluation in NY. I didn't see any clear picture of requirement of CGFNS and english proficiency exam for endorsement process... It's really unclear to me.
call the board.
