How do you know if an interview went well?

I had a second interview today for an internship position.(The first interview is with a recruiter, then sent she arranges the interview with the director). The director was very nice. She explained how the internship program worked, then showed me around the unit. She explained how the rooms were set up, where things were kept, how they set their schedule, etc. We talked for 45 minutes. She said she would talk to the Nurse Recruiter and the recruiter should be calling me back by the end of the week.

So, my question is "how do you know if it went well?" I'm not sure. What do you think?

Have you ever done a practice interview with a friend? That can help you identify things you can improve on or things that are really great.

What was the vibe like? Sometimes that can give you a sense of how things went. Did you seem to be "clicking"?

You are offered the job. There is no other way to know if your interview went well. Good luck... I was a Nurse Extern once... ;)

Sounds to me that if she bothered to show you around and tell you that kind of information it looks like a good sign that you could have landed it. Anytime the manager starts walking me around showing me everything shortly afer I get a call to say that I've gotten the job. But just wait and see what they say!!! Good luck.

It does sound like your interview went well, but it's true you won't really know until you get the offer! Don't forget to send those thank-yous to the interviewers!
