How do I reapply for the NCLEX-RN in CA online?

Been trying to figure this out for hours... or is the only way to do it physical snail mail? I'm afraid to physically mail the paperwork as the BON lost the paperwork of half my nursing class and they had to drive down to Sacramento to get their ATT.

Did you take the exam and fail? Not sure where you are but in NY I only had to pay pearsonvue then call board of nursing informing them I paid. Got my ATT via email in less than 15 minutes. I did not have to reapply or pay board of nursing.

In CA you must reapply and pay CABRN $150 before you can retake the exam. You also have to repay Pearson $200 also you will not get an ATT until you reapply & pay CABRN.

Yeah In CA I have to pay the Board of Nursing Fee for every attempt.

What I'm wondering though, is if there is some way to apply online to the Board of Nursing for re-testing. On Breeze, there's only an initial exam application. I want to make sure there's no way to apply online for re-testing before I send in a physical app, as CA BoN is notorious for losing your paperwork and requiring you to go to Sacramento to straighten it all out.

according to the cabrn (I called and asked a supervisor) the only way to reapply for the nclex is to print out and fill in the application and snail mail it to them with a check. once you see they cashed the check, it usually takes close to 6 weeks to get your att.

Thanks! I can't believe you actually got ahold of someone at the BRN lol. WHenever my class tried calling we would only get an answering machine. So weird that they only take snail mail for reapps... Have to make sure I pass this time... too much of a hassle to retest. This time my new strategy is:

Read Saunders and answer every question in Q-bank.

Finish and complete everything in Hyerst review program.

If I still fail after ALL of that... I don't even know...

Hi does anyone know if I can just go to the CA BRN office and just pay them right there? I am willing to drive there.

Update: Wow still havent received word from BRN on my retesting app.

Ok so I sent my application for retesting and see on my bank account that they cashed the check. But they haven't sent me any other instructions. Am I suppossed to register for the test on Pearson Vue or wait for further instruction?
