  1. Ok so I sent my application for retesting and see on my bank account that they cashed the check. But they haven't sent me any other instructions. Am I suppossed to register for the test on Pearson Vue or wait for further instruction?
  2. Update: Wow still havent received word from BRN on my retesting app.
  3. Thanks! I can't believe you actually got ahold of someone at the BRN lol. WHenever my class tried calling we would only get an answering machine. So weird that they only take snail mail for reapps... Have to make sure I pass this time... too much of a hassle to retest. This time my new strategy is: Read Saunders and answer every question in Q-bank. Finish and complete everything in Hyerst review program. If I still fail after ALL of that... I don't even know...
  4. Yeah In CA I have to pay the Board of Nursing Fee for every attempt. What I'm wondering though, is if there is some way to apply online to the Board of Nursing for re-testing. On Breeze, there's only an initial exam application. I want to make sure there's no way to apply online for re-testing before I send in a physical app, as CA BoN is notorious for losing your paperwork and requiring you to go to Sacramento to straighten it all out.
  5. Bump. Is there really no way to reapply online?
  6. Not yet im still trying to find out how to reapply online. Doesnt seem to be a way. Went back to work as a Medical Assistant for money since I need to pay 350 to retest... thought it was only 200
  7. Been trying to figure this out for hours... or is the only way to do it physical snail mail? I'm afraid to physically mail the paperwork as the BON lost the paperwork of half my nursing class and they had to drive down to Sacramento to get their ATT.
  8. Gah, so much money down the drain. I need to make sure I dont fail again, even though I know retesting pass rates are low for some reason....
  9. To anyone in California that had to retest, how much did you pay? It says in the letter the BON sent me that I need to pay a REQUEST FOR RETEST APPLICATION FEE of 150. Then of course there's the 200 PV testing fee.... thats why Im thinking 350 to retest :/
  10. I got it today, so exactly 8 days after my test date. Yeah I feel ya, it just sucks that i went all out for this test... studied 8 hours a day, finished every single content on Kaplans program . GAHHHHH!!!!! NIGHTINGALE WHY HAST THOU FORSAKEN MEEEEE
  11. I don't know what that is haha, but I got a letter in the mail telling me I failed. I didn't know it's 350 to retest :/.
  12. Update. I failed. On performance report each category stated "Near passing standard." Cant believe this... I did every single question and exam on Kaplan :/. Now I just feel defeated.
  13. Anyone know if thats true? If you fail in CA they need to mail you within several days? Or can it still take up to a few weeks
