How do I check BON for my license?

Published

I took my nclex yesterday and I know it's a long shot but I've seen a lot of people saying their license number showed up online the next day? How do I just check it to see if my name is on the list as an LPN? I'm in ohio

Check your states online licensing list?

I know Michigan will post your number within a few days of passing the exam. It's in our states LARA.

I can't find a list. I'm not sure where to look

Go to the BON website and look for any link that says something like "license verification". Read all of the link titles. It has to be there somewhere. Very easy to use once you find it, basically just type in your name, perhaps the location. Good luck.

I just found it just like that. Do a google search for Ohio LPN nursing board. Go to the link. You will find license/certificate verification as the third link at the top of the page and as the second link on the left border.

I just looked up my name and it just says eligible for examination. Does that mean it just hadn't been update yet?

I would say so. If you go down the page, they tell you that it takes up to 3 days.
