How to go about studying.....? Questions first? Review first?

So I'm stuck....

First I started reading through the entire chapter in Saunders and really trying to understand it and refreshing my memory in general....followed by the questions after the chapter and in LaCharity. Now I'm realizing this is not a realistic process seeing that there are about 70 chapters to read through.

Should I just start from the beginning and go backwards? Do the test at the end of the chapter and if I get above a 75% move on and not read the chapter? I feel like this may be more productive in the end, but less thorough....I want to take the NCLEX at the end of March and I'm still in my last rotation at school, so I don't have so much time, but I want to make the most of the time I do have.

maybe you can divide your study time by days or hours... part of it you will do the reading and second part will be the answering of question plus the rationale... and you can have your book as your reference whenever you don't understand a specific topic in the rationale... goodluck..

Good luck to you too!

Start with content, otherwise you will waste time because you will be looking up everything as you go along.

thanks! That's what I've been doing....going through the major systems that I felt I needed a good review of, but it takes several days for me to finish the chapter and I just feel like I'm never going to finish AND do enough practice questions this way.
