How to get a sponsor?

I recently passed the NCLEX for NY state. I am also a CGFNS and IELTS passer with no hospital experience yet. Do I need to have work experience to be able to find a sponsor?

a employer can sponsoir you withour hospital experinced as long as you meet the requirments and in your case you are qualified BUT with the present situation in New Yrok hospitals are not interested in petitioning this time due to the retrogression.

to be honest many hospitals regardless of state are not committing to foreign nurses wanting petition due to retrogression. As retrogression is in force I would suggest looking for work and gaining some experience

NY hospitals have not been hiring for more than two years in most cases, especially as a new grad, unless you graduated from a NY nursing school. We have only been seeing nursing homes. And with the retrogression expected to last for sometime for those that were born in your country, you would be much further ahead to look at getting experience in another country, you have minimum of a two year wait to even have a chance at a green card, it is no longer guaranteed.
