I recently passed the NCLEX for NY state. I am also a CGFNS and IELTS passer with no hospital experience yet. Do I need to have work experience to be able to find a sponsor?

i took the nclex exam last sept 5 and the computer stopped at 75. i felt like crying after the exam. it was difficult. i checked the quick result after 2 days and I passed. just pray.

im from the philippines and Im currently waiting for my att. I was planning to go to ny after I pass the exam and look for training hospitals that would accept me. if out of state nurses are having a hard time looking for jobs, what more from other country? *panic* what should I do? need advice!

Go to the OP NYSED website. Try to check under application form, If I'm not mistaken, I might have seen a form for license endorsement.

Im not taking the nclex in the United States. I'll be taking it somewhere in Asia. I think that it is possible to take the exam on a tourist visa. You are going there to take the exam, not work. Several of my classmates did that. I'll try to ask them just to be sure. :)

Hello! I am a nurse from the Philippines and I will be taking the NCLEX exam this year. I have heard that experience is a must to get into a hospital in NY. Unfortunately, I have no experience yet except for hospital exposure during my related learning experience. What is needed for someone in my position to get a job in NY? I have heard of nurses who go to the States with no work experience but managed to find a hospital and at the same time gives sponsorship. This is the same opportunity that I am looking for. I have a tourist visa, what are my options? Thanks.
