Hello everyone ! I have been reading that pple have been waiting long after their NCLEX exam to find out whether they have passed or failed so I wanted to share a way I have used and it has worked. I called the health dept in my state, the next day after my NCLEX examination. I told them that I had given the NCLEX exam the previous day and wanted to know If I was liscensed. The person will just tell you if you have been liscensed or not. If not liscensed then they will tell you that you will be receiving a package in the mail and that you have x number of days (according to the state your in) to regive the exam. I did this twice and it worked for me.

The other standard trick is to go to the state Board of Nursing website and do an online license verification check on yourself. If you have passed, it will have all your information there. However, it usually takes about 2-3 days for the online database to be updated, so you still have to wait . . . and bite your nails . . . I checked about every hour!! Just in case . . .

My state's BON website usually updates their records 24-48 hours after the exam.

Or do the pearson vue trick - it worked for me and almost everyone on this site that had to take the NCLEX.
Thats right :) ..I could not wait 2 days so I just called them as soon as they are in office. :)
