Doing good here - busy, but good. I am doing clinicals on Mon & Tues, class on Weds & Thurs, and working Fri, Sat, Sun. This past week I asked my boss if I could alternate weekends where I would work 2 days on the weekend one week and then 3 the next week. I just need a day off here and there! Also, since I am so far ahead in our program (it's partly a self-paced program) I have been put into extra clinicals so there will be some week where I am doing clinicals 3 days a week, and one day I will be doing a daytime clinical with one class for mental health and then going with my own class for our nursing home clinical that night. I keep trying to explain my schedule to my parents, but if I can't keep up with it, I don't know how they will!
It is getting frustrating to not be able to do the skills at work that I already know. Some of my nurses at work will let me do small things though if they are in the room.

We are starting week 5 of my BSN program and I am loving it! I have learned a lot already and am doing good in classes. I have 2 tests this week to study for, and I have been busy, but nothing horrible. Nursing school so far hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be. I still have plently of time for my family and to do fun things.
I'm planning on working as a CNA or some sort of aid here very soon, probably with either Mercy or Inegris. I think that would help so much with basic skills.
So how is everyone else doing??
