How early did you wake up to register for fall classes

Classes fill up so quickly at my school! Registration starts 7am the day your class(freshman, sophmore..)You rush for a spot! I found that if you log in at 6:45 you can register eariler. Sneaky, aren't I? :) Also if I don't get in a class I constantly go and check and wait for a spot to open. I have gotten into lots of classes like that.

My, my, you are a sneaky one aren't you.LOL! I know what you mean about checking though. Tuition wasn't due until the 2nd of August here, had to be in by 6pm. Sure enough my friend checked that night at midnight and got into a class that was previously full.

OMG, I can't imagine having to wait in line to register/pay tuition. I LOVE my computer!!

I mostly miss my anatomy and micro, chem class but by looking all the time on school schedule 4-5 times a day i got in with all them and decided to drop the micro to avoid getting crazy :uhoh3: so my class summary consist of 2 science and 2 gen.ed. :coollook:

But all that hassle sure beats the heck out of standing in line, like we did in the olden days. You'd stand there in a huge line, desperately watching the registrars write "Closed" on the chalkboard next to the classes you were planning to take.

WOW! At least we got to look at an overhead! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: (I graduated high school in '91.)

Nope...tried that, didn't work. LOL If it's not 8 AM by my school's website, it "ain't" happening! lol

My school had priority registration online from the 7th-13th of July. Everday I went on the site watching in horror as all the seats were being snatched up for A&P. The students at my school don't play when it comes to getting into the good classes (nice teachers, good times, etc.). When the 11th finally rolled around (my appointment date for early registration) there were only 3 seats left in the lab I wanted, and 5 in the lecture. Needless to say, I was up at 12 am on the dot to get my butt in those seats. Do classes fill up fast where you go to school? Share your registration nightmares!

My school had open early registration in April. I got my classes as soon as possible. And have been stress free for months.

Nope, didn't have to get up early. School goes by how many credits you have and give you a time slot. Mine startted at 1pm. So I crawled out of bed at noon, and was back to bed my 1:30. Thankfully, I had enough credits I could register a little earlier, and got into A&P right away.

Cood be good, but maybe not! Just think if you were just starting out in college....it would take forever to get into A&P!

I hear your pain. Even though I had finished a spring semester and was currently in the middle of the summer term, I was not yet considered 'returning'. I watched everyday to see how fast the classes were filling, and they didn't allow us to register until a certain day at noon. So there I was, 10 minutes to noon, with my reg info filled out and waiting noon so I could hit the send button. Of course, the classes with eaiser teachers filled up with early reg students. :uhoh21:
