Hello guys would you guys please help?!

I just want to ask you how long or how many weeks you'll give a notice to your employer ? I mean work with them with 1 year and 6 months as their charge nurse/lead clinical nurse? Is 2 weeks enough or should I give them like more than that like 3-4 weeks of notice? I'm working under hospital/medical center?

Thank you.

What does the HR policy state is the required notice? My facility requires 4 weeks notice to prevent being placed on the do not rehire list. Management has to give even longer notice. The policy at your facility would be a good place to start getting ideas.

4 weeks is standard

I worked at one facility that required notice equivalent to your vacation accrual. At my last staff nurse position, I gave 8 weeks notice. A month is considered professional. It is best to refer to your HR policy for knowing thr time frame required submitting your resignation. If I recall correctly it mainly depends on whether or not you are an exempt or non exempt employee.
