How difficult would you say Intro to Nursing course is? Also I am trying to decide wheher to take general microbiology or pathogenic microbiology. Did you take either one and which do you suggest? I just completed my A&P in 6 weeks and got a C :banghead: so now i will have to retake it. I have to complete thse 3 classes before apllying to Nursing program. I dont want to wait a whole year so was wondering if you think its possible to take all 3 classes in fall and do well? or should I just wait?

Yes! I'm excited! You can do it! I took all those classes, and I was also working! It was a semester that I was very blessed!

I am excited also! the 6 week semester of A&P was very difficult for me and ended with a C. Im shooting for all A's fall semester. How was it taking HESI?

Hesi was not so bad, but since I took right after a very tough semester I didn't do so well, so this time I am planning to take it on the last day( jan 8th) if possible so I can be more prepared !

Well, honestly any class is as hard as the instructor makes it. It can be the easiest class for one and the hardest class for another.

I have aways taken my science courses one at a time. It depends on what you can handle. I took micro with enlglish and aids awareness

I might be too late to respond, but I had a 4.0 with a total of 42 credits BEFORE taking intro to nursing. I even took it a total of three times to get an A and I never did. I got a B but as to someone apply to the nursing program a B is not acceptable! Ha. I found it not so much hard but confusing. It's all on the history of nursing and you have to KNOW the chapters inside and out, you can't just study your class notes/power pointed. Then they spend the entire class telling you why nursing is not for you. As far as microbiology I absolutely loved patho micro. I took general microbiology but it was harder and they just skim basic Information. I feel that I KNOW so much from patho and retained all the information.

Micro is fun, but since I was taking so many classes at the same time, I ended up getting a B . So i am retaking patho in the fall, hopefully I'll be able to getting in next year!
