Hi,
I am a registered nurse in a foreign country. I have Passed Bachelor's Degree in nursing and have 3 years of work experience. I am planning of going to Australia to work as a nurse. If someone has been through this process, can you please guide me in this matter. Thank you all.
Bridging course is the most popular stepping stone if you want to work in Australia, perhaps, on other countries as well. So, anybody know a reliable agency to apply for this bridging program?

Hi,
I'm from the philippines. I want to apply as a nurse in Australia.. Would i qualify If I have only 1 year experience as a volunteer nurse? What are the requirements and qualifications? Where should I go to process my application? If I don't qualify, what are my options that I may still land to australia?..

Hi I am a new graduate RN trying to see if I would be able work in Australia and what kind of hoops I would have to go through to get the right visas, certifications, ect.
hi. did you just said newly graduate nurses are automatically registered in australia? Like if I take the 1 year conversion program, I will be automatically registered??
I'm really confused =(
Let's take for example, I finished my 1 year conversion program in australia. After that, do I need to take bridging program after? How about ielts?? If I only got overall 7 but has below 7 in some subtests..should I take the ielts again..??
=(

Meet APHRA requirements and if no experience you will be required to complete a bridging course. Suggest you read the big thread on Australia

keiy, conversion courses are about 25K AUD for 10 months. If you have significant experience you may opt for the bridging course which is about 3-6 months, depending on the University/providre, for about 10K AUD.
There's another thread that has a ton of information. Be patient and read through it:)
