How is the BSN entry level program at Nova Southeastern University?

Hey I'm new to this site, and was just curious how Nova's nursing program is. I just got accepted into the Fall 2010 nursing program at the main campus in Davie. Any advice on how it is? Did you feel prepared when you took your NCLEX after completing the 27 month program? Would love to hear from anybody. I'm so excited and cant wait to start in august! :)

hey Guys, just to be on right side, do Nova base your application on your cumulative GPA's or pre-requisites GPA ? If so my GPA is 3.39 but pre-requisite is 3.70. and I think i put 3.39 in my application but again i send them my transcript.

Hey everyone thanks to Jerziana I was able to get some info on the books and on classes. Let's just say we're going to be on a long rollercoaster ride. But I know we can all get through it. I wanted to ask does anyone have pictures of the books we need. I have been shoppng around and I see different things. Plz get back to me!

Hey guys I recently applied to Nova University for the Winter 2011 program and Im super excited. But some of you seem to have applied very early and gotten your responses already. Awsome! I would like to know how long did you wait and what was your gpa. I am like 2 classes away from an associates degree in Nursing, I have like a 3.7 pre-requisite and a 3.2 cum. Im really nervous. cant sleep as you can see lol and just want some advice. I have already recieved my NSU ID number is that a good thing?

Hey I think its both. They look at your cumm. GPA and also look at your pre-req gpa so if one is not so high but the sciences courses are higher it looks good and helps you out a bit.

ok so.....i have been searching for days and wasting gas, but i finally found the websites to order our scrubs and lab coat/jacket (just in case anyone else is getting the run around). scrubs: http://www.nsuuniformstore.com and for the lab coat: http://www.webmedbooks.com/nova/default2.aspx?id=1. i went to the uniforms for america (7051 w broward blvd, plantation, fl 33317.... 954-316-7051) to get my scrub bottoms b/c they have a buy 3 get 1 free special. if anyone is interested make sure to get "cherokee" brand in teal (tag says: 4101 tlbw). i went to the nsu bookstore to match the color and it is exact. they also have embroidering for the scrub top but it is cheaper to buy it online with nsu. hope this helps!!! yay for the jan.2011 sharks!!!!!!
