I have a few questions.. hope I get some answers.. Iam a CNA and phlebotomist.I currently work at a doctor office. I attended lpn school for 6 months and my teacher shorted me 3 points so I didn't pass med surg. I passed a&p basic nursing maternity. Iam wondering is there a way to continue my career to become a lpn from my employer? The school wants me to pay additional money out of my pocket to repeat med surg but I don't think it's right.. any help please

Get the employer to pay for returning to school. If they refuse to pay for the repeated course (I would ask the school not to inform them that you are repeating, if that is possible), then pay for it yourself, then submit to your employer for payment for the remainder of the program. This is a question for your HR department. Many employers provide tuition assistance, but not all do.
Thank you

I wouldn't count on a doctor's office paying for nursing school unless they're specifically hoping you'll work in a nursing capacity in their office. If they hired you as an assistant, it's very likely that they want to pay for an assistant ...not for a nurse.
