Good Day! I am a Filipino nurse who has a full time work experience as a Staff/Registered Nurse in the Philippines for 4 years, however, I'm currently working as an Enrolled Nurse here in Singapore for 3 yrs and 4 months now, therefore I will not be eligible to apply for RN in Australia. Now Im thinking of applying as an Enrolled nurse in Australia since it's the best option that I can think of. I need your help fellow nurses. Can anybody tell me how to apply as an Enrolled Nurse in that country? Thank u

You can't. IEN RNs are ineligible to register as ENs in Australia. There is not an exception as the education is not equivalent.
"Your registered nurse qualification will not meet the requirements for registration as an enrolled nurse:
There are two distinct divisions of nursing registration in Australia - enrolled nurse and registered nurse, and given the distinction between these two types of nursing registration under the National Law, the NMBA must consider qualifications for each division separately. A program of study leading to registration as a registered nurse is delivered at the Bachelor level (AQF 7). A program of study leading to registration as an enrolled nurse is separate from, and not part of, the program of study leading to registration as a registered nurse and is delivered at the Diploma level (AQF 5). The breadth and depth of the education of a registered nurse and an enrolled nurse are quite different. As a result the role expectations and scope of practice of a registered nurse and an enrolled nurse are different.
Each program of study is approved against the relevant NMBA-approved accreditation standards and designed to meet the relevant NMBA standards for practice (also known as competency standards), that is the Enrolled Nurse competency standards or the Registered Nurse competency standards. This means that a person graduating from a program of study (such as a Bachelor of Nursing) leading to registration as a registered nurse is not entitled to registration as an enrolled nurse in Australia."

Hi there I have been looking an online program of such kind in doing so I did some talk to those in the program. I heard a very bad reputation of those of the onlines. Students in those programs exchange exams from class to class and they score much better than those who doesn't engage in such a behavior. I even heard those full time moms use their husbands brain to take the courses and exams. It is saddening to hear and know these nurses are out there soon to be in the public risk. I don't know what the schools can't let their students take the exams in class or prepare different exams to screen out those scams. Clinic performance is over looked. So I wouldn't advise to anyone to join such kind.
