How accurate is the ATI Exit exam

Published

Hello Everyone,

I just finished my last day of nursing school and in order to graduate we have to take ATI comprehensive predictor and in my school we should score 97% predictability of passing the NCLEX from the first time or we have to do Virtual ATI. I scored 99% predictability in this exit test. They also give us another predictor in the middle of the semester and I also scored 99 % predictability. I would like to know if anyone had experience and if those results are really accurate.

Thank you,

I took the ATI comp. last semester and thought NCLEX was easier. ATI seems to ask odd, obscure questions comparatively. I got a 97% on it and passed first time in 75Q.

I payed for a month subscription to UWorld NCLEX practice and thought that was waaaaaaaaayy more realistic than ATI was. Food for thought.

I'm going to tell you what my instructor told me...That 99% means nothing. You need to study like you just got a 0%. A "predictor" is just a predictor.

ATI is a big waste of time jmho. We had more nclex failures solely studying ATI versus using uworld or Kaplan. People said it didn't prepare them as well as other resources.

Did you take the ATI? Or you still student?

I already have Uworld and I'll use it to prepare for my NCLEX

I took ATI all throughout nursing school and my predictor. The first 2 students in my cohort took nclex solely with ATI with a 95% passing predictor. They both failed. After hearing that I dropped ATI and did uworld. I passed and now have a new grad position. Btw the two who failed had to wait three more months to take nclex again.

Killer nclex pass combo - Kaplan and Uworld. Don't worry about the percentages. Just learn why you got them wrong is key. I swear I had 25 questions similar on my nclex.

I took ATI exit exam in December and scored a 98%. I used NCSBN's Review for the NCLEX-RN paid $70 for 5 weeks and passed nclex on the first try in 75 questions. I didn't have $350-400 to pay for the other programs and turns out, I didn't need them.

Thank you guys, I never liked ATI at all and I'm using the combination of Uworld and Kaplan questions bank for the NCLEX. I'm done with the ATI and wont even review anything int it at all. I'm just blessed that I don't have to do the virtual ATI because in my school if I got less than 97 % predictability they would never release my papers to take the board till I'm done with VATI. I'm taking the NCLEX within the next 3 weeks and I already have a job lined up so wish me the luck. Any advises are welcome

I'm starting nursing school in May and they use ATI. I will make sure to invest in Uworld. Thanks for the heads up everyone :)

Which state are you taking your nclex?
