I am trying to apply to Harris Health GN residency and I completed part one but I am confused on part 2. It says on their website that upon completion of part 1 we will be sent a GN packet checklist from HR... but I have not received anything from them. I am getting nervous as the application is due the 13th.
So, I had the same issue, but I talked to the lady at a career fair at my school last week. She only sends the form out 1 a week and it gets sent out as a mass email to everyone that applied. It's literally a checklist form that you just have to put all your documents together in a PDF and add this as like a cover sheet. She also said she actually leaves it open and accepts them until the 14th because she will send out the last of the form like today or tomorrow.
I just applied to St. Luke today, app closes sunday. I will also be applying to Memorial Hermann when the app opens up on the 17th.
Does anyone know about St. Joseph's residency? On the website it says to call HR but I can never get anyone.
Does the GPA get calculated from just nursing classes or does it include pre-reqs?

The same happened to me. I have been calling St. Joseph's HR number with no answer. Let me know when you get a response... I will let you know of one as well.
Does anyone know when MD Anderson and TCH open?
Harris Health - I heard takes a long time, and notifies people close to graduation.
HCA - does a hiring event next month, they don't really do an application, you go to the event, you get 4 tickets, choose 4 units (all 19 hospitals are there), and interview on the spot.
MH has pre-match day, but I have heard back from an MH that is not TMC.
I heard Methodist is doing pre-screening March 1st, and they usually call the week before or so, so I think it should be any day now.

Can you believe applications have started opening up? Anyway, just an early start for everyone to discuss.
I'm planning on applying to Harris Health, Memorial Hermann, Methodist, & TCH, and I will be applying to multiple locations for each. I'm trying to decide if I should branch out and apply at some places out of state or not since I want a very demanding specialty, but I'm not necessarily ready to uproot my family just for my residency. I'm open to suggestions or thoughts from others who have been through this part of the experience already.
