Published

Hey Nurses! What’s the word on the street regarding residencies that will open up this fall. Could we have some posted?

Thank you!

Does anyone know when MD Anderson Fall application starts? I was told by an HR rep that it would February, June, Sept but she did not give specific dates?

Does anyone know the HCA StaRN salary?

I was told $27.28/hr during training

Hey, i think MDA has already been posting for their nurse residency. It’s not one specific application. It’s like “clinical nurse residency name of unit” and the postings come and go. I got alerts on Glassdoor and have seen posting for transplant, leukemia, lymphoma and neuro. And I’m almost certain it’s for this fall cohort. But what i have heard from previous cohorts is that if you apply somewhere and don’t get it they reach out to you with another unit.

Ohok thanks for letting me know. I got an interview with them but I didn't want to ask. I'll just stay with my MH offer. It's higher.

Ohok bc I've been searching off and on and have not been able to find anything. Thanks for the Glassdoor tip!

For the StaRN program, what start date did you apply for and when do you graduate? I applied for their 26th start date and got denied like an hour later, I think it might be because I graduate the 9th of August.

I just received the email for St. Luke's October 2019 Nurse Residency. It's asking to scan some documents and submit them by 07/21, and the Interview day will be 08/23 (No phone or video interviews). You haft to submit the survey attached, your resume and transcript (unofficial)

I received a follow up email with Chi St.Lukes asking for more information including my transcripts and other things . I will not be moving forward as I accepted an offer with another employer a couple of weeks ago .

Interview with your preferred unit or multiple?

On the survey that you complete it asks you to select a preferred location and unit. It also states that 80% or more of the positions are at Medical Center location.
