You applied for August 26 start date? Yeah i think that might be for May graduates.

I honestly want to start ASAP but I feel you. I'll apply for the next wave.

I've been studying for the NCLEX since the last week of April. My UWorld scores are in the 94% likely to pass and I've gotten level 3s on all my ATIs so I'm going to take it the first day I can, but I'm an over achiever. My mom is an RN and failed the NCLEX this first time so I've over studied out of fear lol

hey guys, just wanted to chime in, I got a email from CHI today also. When y'all submit all of the required documents are yall going to drag and drop everything in a word doc, since the instructions specifically said scan and return as a 1 single sided document, if not how are yall doing it? They are such simple instructions that im sure I am overthinking, I just don't want to send everything back the wrong way and get thrown out automatically!

I just scanned the documents to my computer all together (single sided) and attached it to the email in the correct order

For the StaRN program, what start date did you apply for and when do you graduate? I applied for their 26th start date and got denied like an hour later, I think it might be because I graduate the 9th of August.

I applied for the August 26 start date but I graduated in May. After speaking to the recruiter in June she mentioned that most off the positions were filled up. She called me on Monday to ask if I was still interested for a post op position. I accepted for a interview but cancelled my interview. So FYI there a post op position available in the Pearland location.

Any idea if they require a 2 year contract?

The recruiter told me that you would haft to sign a 2 year commitment and also you haft to stay on that unit for those 2 years. That 2nd part turned me off

I verbally accepted an offer with HCA and my recruiter said the same thing. If you leave before the 2 years you will owe $10,000 (but I've heard scenarios where people leave and don't get charged) and you have to stay on the unit for the 2 years. I was initially offered a Medsurg position and turned it down due to that fact, but I was offered another position in Postpartum (where I want to be) so I accepted.

That's great... I think Im gonna stick with MH because I didn't like the HCA location (Northwest) or the unit (Observation)

Yeah, honestly HCA wasn't my first choice but no one else seems interested in me and I want to start working, like yesterday! Lol i'm so eager to begin.

Hey do you know if for MH we have to stay in the same unit for the duration of the contract or can we go to a different one later on?
