Houston Nurse Residency Winter/Spring 2024

Hi everyone! I will be graduating with my BSN this semester and I'm applying for residencies in the Houston area. I already applied to Houston Methodist but wanted to hear about other programs that might be interesting. Best of luck!

Wow! What other units did you specify for west location? So since you they don't have "women's services" they're just going to over look your application?

I probably only put NICU ?, or Mother/Baby. I don't remember tbh because I couldn't go back to look at my app. But it's OK though. I'ma stay hopeful for the other apps I put in. I hope you get a email tho! And congratulations to everyone who received a email/callback! I hope you guys get the positions!

I also applied to Children's Memorial Herman and have not heard back. What unit did you apply for?

Hello everyone! Congratulations to all interviewed/heard back from a recruiter. I have a question though has anyone heard back from Harris Health?

Last I heard from them was an email on 9/13 from HR with the webex link to the prerecorded NRP 2024 session.

Okay, thank you. Do you know their hiring process? I keep on checking my portal, status shows reviewed. I don't know anyone who applied to them or know about their way of hiring as an how they select their applicants. Do you have any info on that? Any info would be appreciated.

Not too familiar with the process and few others that applied from my cohort have also not heard back. From what I heard, they receive quite a few of applicants and have very limited spots. But if I hear anything ill update on here for sure!

Received a message personally from a recruiter on HM West campus OR. They requested me to call them at my earliest convenience. Any idea what they might ask?
