Hi everyone! I graduated with my BSN and I'm applying for residencies in the Houston area. Best of luck!
Hey guys:) I'm putting together a spreadsheet to send out to the younger cohorts at my school with information about residencies in Texas. I'm looking for information about base pay, differentials, pay increases, sign-on bonuses, etc. so if you've accepted an offer from a hospital in the Houston area & would like to share your salary information so I can include it — you can comment or PM me. I'm specifically looking for HCA, Houston Methodist, Memorial Hermann, & TCH facilities, but if you have information for anywhere else you're welcome to share it! Here's my current list if you're curious & if there are any discrepancies that you know of let me know!

I just heard back today from Pasadena. I also interviewed during the HCA event. I got a job offer for the IMCU

I heard from them on 3/14 and a good number of other people have reported that they received the interview invite call as well. Multiple units from what I've seen. Last year I believe they reached out up until the beginning of the week before interviews started.

How was the interview for general peds? Did you have 2 different interviews for med surg and surgical trauma?

Hi! So I went in to interview for surgical trauma and had my 1st interview with the manager and educator. I then had my panel interview and was told at my panel interview that I'll be interviewing with the manager and nurse educator in the medsurg unit. It was so impromptu because they were already done with interviews the day before. They asked me to tell them about myself, why memorial hermann, give me a time where you've failed, a time you had a difficult coworker or patient and IDK what else. I then had my panel interview the next day on zoom since I had to get back to Austin
