It was for mother/baby, my only hope now is Methodist and TCH, but I'm feeling very discouraged 😢

keep your head up! TCH hasn't started reaching out yet as far as I can tell so there's still hope!

im still waiting to hear from Children's MH general peds. I interviewed Tuesday but haven't heard an update yet. so the possibilities are looking kind of slim

I know a lot of people, including myself, got rejected for the Summer residency programs. I was wondering what you all are planning to do now. What's your plan B? Are you considering starting at a nursing home, urgent care, etc., or just waiting until the Fall/October residency starts?

I'm probably going to wait for the fall residency. I've heard Kelsey-Seybold clinics might hire new grads, but IDK how likely it is. Not sure what other places might hire a new grad.

If I hadn't gotten my offer, my plan was to apply for a student nurse position, take my time studying for the NCLEX, enjoy my free time with friends and family and then apply for fall residency. I heard it may be advantageous to apply after obtaining your license since that's the gamble they take with new hires that haven't graduated or taken their NCLEX yet. It's not uncommon for students to wait for the next cohort since they want to take a break instead of jumping straight into work

Anyone hear from Methodist yet?

Im in the same boat, finding a job is turning out to be the most difficult part of finishing nursing school for me.

I interviewed yesterday morning at Children's Memorial Hermann TMC with General Pediatrics and haven't heard anything yet. The interview went well and they said we would hear back by the end of the week, but I know that in previous cohorts people got offers even sooner than that.

Has anyone gotten offers/rejections from them? Or know anyone that got some kind of response?

I'm checking my email every minute it seems. Also, my application status still says "in interview process". I'm getting increasingly anxious every hour that passes, but trying to keep faith.

I got my offer letter for general peds med surg and surgical trauma today but ended up going with surgical trauma so hopefully you hear back from med surg 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾

I did a virtual pre screening on Monday with the Sugar land location and was told that I would hear back from them by the end of this week.. still haven't heard back, but hopefully I do by the end of today!

Just zoom interviewed with MH TMC for 15 mins and the panel asked...

1. Tell us about youself?

2. Why Memmorial Hermann?

3. When was a time you had a conflict and how was it resolved?

Then they explained the OR section of the residency program to me and asked if I had any questions.

Anyone know the last day to hear back? I know it varies by unit but I feel like they all have to send a response by a certain day.
