Starting a thread about Houston Nurse Residency programs that open this month/next to start in June/July!

Mines tomorrow at 10:15! I’m freaking out!! What kind questions did they ask? Do you happen to know how many they are taking vs how many they interviewed? When I finish tomorrow I’ll ask when we should hear back and let you know!! I read some past threads and people got calls the same day so fingers crossed for both of us!! I’m sure you did great!

Did anyone that interviewed for PICU TMC get a second interview after today?

Please don't freak out!! (I do understand being nervous, but try try try to breathe and take it easy). So for General Pediatrics there are 2 units (CCN and RCW) each unit is taking 4 graduates. I have no idea how many applied (definitely more than 8 LOL). Maybe they will decide to take more bc of everything going on (Corona) and the increased need for help.

You will be interviewed by the managers of both units and they will be asking you all of the typical questions, but resiliency definitely stood out (they want an example of when you have been resilient). I personally enjoyed the peer panel interviews bc it was fun to chat with our potentially new coworkers from the units. Some of my friends interviewed with both units (CCN and RCW) and others just interviewed with CCN. There is no rhyme or reason behind that....I don't get why they are doing it this way, but it is the first ever Virtual Match Day so I think they are trying to figure everything out as well.

I have heard from nurses that they let you know pretty soon! Unfortunately, I had friends who they turned down right away during Match Day after their interview. If I hear anything or get a call I will let you know (good or bad). Sending you the best vibes ❤️ Hearing back today would be such a blessing bc Corona is definitely delaying every other aspect of my life and this waiting game is T O R T U R E!

Hmm.....I honestly don't know they have never had 2 match days, but since everything is so different bc its virtual now you never know.

Has anyone interviewed for Med-Surg at Memorial Hermann? I have an interview tomorrow at 11:30 was just wanting to know what type of questions they ask! ?

Does anyone know what type of questions they will ask and also is it just the recruiter or are there multiple people? I have my interview for Memorial Hermann today.

Ahhh! I'm just nervous, I graduated last year and have had such a hard time finding a job, so I'm more scared about getting another rejection then anything but I'm staying positive and trusting that this is where god wants me!

I hope I get a second interview that would make me feel 10000 times better, but If they already are sending rejections then I have a good feeling they will be calling sooner rather than later with offers! Keep me posted!! Ill be sending positive vibes your way as well!
