I found it by searching through all job openings

Yeah, I searched their career section and it popped up. I submitted my application right after.

I plan on applying to the Houston nurse residency programs.

Does anyone know if we can begin these programs with a compact license? I tried finding contact info for each hospital but was unsuccessful.

Most hospitals allow you to start even just as a "Graduate Nurse" before you take your NCLEX, so I am certain if you have a compact license (TX is a compact state) that should not be an issue. I took my NCLEX and got my license in a state different from where I am currently working & the state issued me a temporary license to work under until they reviewed all of my background & issued the official one. Once you are hired they are very willing to work with you to figure out these issues!

I still haven’t heard from Harris Health about the checklist but I heard back from st. Luke’s.
