Houston Nurse Residency Spring 2022

I wanted to go ahead and start a thread for all the Houston applicants! Where is everyone applying and what units? Would love for us to connect throughout the process.

It was pretty good! It was really conversational and we all started together. They kind of gave an overview and then they separated us into break-out rooms of 3 individuals from different specialties. Good luck with your interview!!

Thank you! I don’t know if I’ll go on with the interview. I got an offer from Harris health for L&D. So IDK. But hopefully you hear back soon from St Luke’s!

I asked about the next steps, they said that later this evening they will convene. From there HR will reach out to us if they plan to offer. They didn't give a timetable but said it wouldn't take long. I plan on attending one of the info sessions later today to try and find out more.

ICU or ED! I’d even be open to OR what about you? What location did you interview with?

Same! Particularly a cardiac ICU if given the option. My interviewers were at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center. What about you?
