Houston Nurse Residency Spring 2022

Published

I wanted to go ahead and start a thread for all the Houston applicants! Where is everyone applying and what units? Would love for us to connect throughout the process.

Has anyone heard from Harris health  regarding decisions? Specifically LBJ?

I got an email asking me to fill out a “formal application” to verify my work history and then another email for a covid-19 vaccine requirement that started with “Thank you for choosing Texas Children’s as your next place of work and we look forward to you joining our One Amazing Team.”

but not sure if this means I got an offer? Did you get these emails also?

I got the same email

did yall only fill out what was  highlighted in yellow or the whole form?

Has anyone heard from Houston Methodist TMC for an IMU position yet??

Stay away from HCA. It is a horrible corporation to work for. They lie to you and tell you what you want to hear so you’ll sign the 2 year contract.

trust me I know. I currently work for them and am stuck in a 2 year contract. everyone I started with want to quit but can’t bc of the contract. Run away!!

Which HCA hospital do you work at and what unit? Can you provide some example as to why it’s horrible? I’m asking because I do have an offer from HCA.

Specializes in BSN, RN.

Has anyone interview for Methodist for "Main 8 Covid" position? I applied for something else but this is what they call me for and I have an interview today at 4:00. I was just wondering if anyone else had this offer.

I accepted an offer for HCA Conroe ED, does anyone know anything about this location/unit ? Is it an ideal place to start my first RN job? I applied and interviewed everywhere else but got no job offer except from HCA. I don’t seem to have a choice but any info would help.

My co worker use to work there in the ED. She said since the new management took over it hasn’t been great. Her and a lot of others left. She’s a CNA though, I can’t speak for the nurses. Hope this helps.

Does anyone know about HCA southeast because I was offered a position there in the ED?

Does anyone have any feedback on St.Luke’s hospital? Just wanted to get some inside info if they like it or not.

Hey, has anyone heard back from TCH after your interview/formal application/COVID vaccination status?

And does anyone know if they notify you if you do not get the job? Im wondering if the application status changes or if they will let us know.

I got this email as well. Super misleading... what unit did you interview/apply for?

Does anyone know when to expect to hear back from St. Luke's?  I forgot to ask
