Hello! I created this thread for those graduating in December who are applying to nurse residency programs in Houston for the Spring 2021 start date. Good luck everyone!!

They’re still doing pre-screenings all next week so they won’t be sending second round interviews out for a while.

I just did my prescreening and they said I should hear back by the end of next week. So I’m sure you’ll hear back by then too.

I did the pre-screen for Methodist TMC! She said I should hear from someone within 2 weeks to set up webex interview with hiring manager.

Has anyone interviewed for the OR nurse residency at Memorial Hermann Sugarland? I had an interview last week but haven’t heard anything yet. ??

I accepted a Houston Methodist ED position! I was an internal applicant, so can't speak for the external process but I had my screening interview, virtually interviewed with management the week after, and then heard back within about a week of the interview. 

Praying for everyone's job search process in the weeks to come, and remember to keep an eye out for MD Anderson and Texas Children's!

hey, congratz! im out of state applicant, had interview from unit manager, 2 weeks ago but didn't heard anything back yet.

Congratulations!! That’s awesome :) I picked ED as my first for Houston Methodist and they are currently doing pre screenings still for external applicants! Do you have any tips for the interview on what type of questions to focus on?? :)
