Anyway, did any of you guys know how we can obtain the permission # to enroll for classes yet?

Sure thing! Unfortunately, it's taking forever and I have my slow internet to blame. I will continue to let the software upload overnight!

@vickiee - handbook acknowledgement will be given at the orientation on the 20th c: so no worries on that for now.

I met Mrs. Joseph in the bathroom ( don't know for sure her name sorry but someone told me she is one of ADN boss)..creepy I know haha.. I asked her when can we enroll for classes. She said they won't be open until the 20th which is our second orientation day. They will let us know all that then.

Update on Dragon!: Good news, everyone! After leaving my dropbox running for what seemed forever, I finally got to upload the entire soft ware in its entirety. Please check your e-mails (and pms!) for the link. Let me know if you run into any problems or if you download it. I need to delete that file soon because it's taking up my entire dropbox space. @_@

All, I am have applied for this spring 2015 and waiting for the email for HCC to take Pharmacology. Just wondering how hard is Pharmacology and other nursing classes. Please let me know if I need to do anything before i start my class. Any suggestions will be of great help.

For the Edose exam, is it mainly math ? Do i have to do any conversation, IV drop or mEq ?

Tomorrow is my last day to pay for nursing classes at Lee College.

I'm still waiting for Ms. January for the Edose schedule and i have nothing to guarantee that i'm in ADN program at HCC. She printed out my conditional letter on August 7th and instruct me to upload all the documentation on certified.

I'm extremely worried if i drop Lee College and get nothing from HCC.

Okay, I suggest that today you call Ms. January and let her know you missed the first orientation and would like to know when to go take your eDose exam because your deadline for Lee College is tomorrow.

If she says you'll be fine and can let you know when your edose exam will be scheduled then you'll be fine. However, if she can't come up with an answer I would just take Lee College because it's not fair to you to be in limbo over this! Good luck!

Also for the edose exam, I took it on paper but I didn't have any IV drip rates, or mEqs. However, there were:

- conversions (such as convert x lb to kg)

- basic calculations (you are ordered x mg of Acetaminophen but you are given a bottle of acetaminophen suspension with xmg per mL, how many milliliters will you administer?)

- medical abbreviations (po by mouth)

that's what edose covered. i wish you the best!!!

P.S. The first orientation was on the 6th, let her know that she e-mailed you well after the orientation so there was no way you could attend it.

Thanks, arod9176! Make sure to download the books too cus they may be used for your semester as well. Save as much money as you can because supplies are expensive as it is!

No, THANK YOU @berryberries! You're too kind with your resources. I downloaded the study guide you put for fundamentals of nursing and I'm looking into getting myself the flash cards you mentioned for pharmacology. I really appreciate it. You have no idea how much you've helped
