I see the trend of starting a thread for each new application period and did not see one for the FALL 2016. I am applying for the FALL 2016 program which has a deadline of June 1st. Nervous but excited. My plan is to get accepted and if not to apply to other ADN programs the following Spring 2017. My main reason to apply at HCC was:1) it was in-district and 2.) it offered evening classes.
I am not sure if anyone else has attended any of the recent info sessions but they make the evening program sound confusing. From what I gathered it was based on class availability so there may be times when you will have to take morning classes. I would find this difficult because I am going to be doing the forbidden; school and work.
I have yet to take my HESI but I am one class away from completing my pre-reqs. Well, hopefully we can share more thoughts and questions on what is to come. Good Luck everyone!

Hi, I am preparing my Hesi test. I am not good at reading, is it hard? HCC gives me a dept id but there is no exam available in the Elsevier. How can I do? If HCC is no longer provide the Nursing program, where I can register program?
I haven't taken a&p 2, since it wasn't a requirement at hcc (I know it lessened my chances but I didn't want anything to mess with my gpa) I didn't take it, and its a requirement at san jac I believe.
and at lonestar, they require your thea or compass scores to be from no longer than 3 years, its been way longer for me with that, im seeing how quick I can retake that, and I still have to take the hesi.... smh hcc screwed up alot
I'm also thinking of applying, I'm just taking my prerequisites tho, I plan to finish them in May to meet the June 1st application deadline. I hope the fall session still holds.
HCC is only accepting returning students for this fall. If you know anyone that needs to reapply because they withdrew or did not pass, let them know. The deadline for the readmission application is June 1.
