Just wanted to know if anyone is applying this April to get in for fall 2015 ADN program at HCC?
Also, I have completed all of the required prerequisites and I am taking all of the recommended classes this Spring. Do I still have a chance of getting accepted even though the recommended classes are still in progress?
I plan on registering for the HESI as soon as HCC updates the test dates and I am hoping to get a date in February.

Hey csantana, if possible try taking it through lone star. It's cheaper than going through evolve or another testing center. Go to lone star's nursing site and look at the Hesi instructions. I plan taking mine at lone star. Hope this helps if not, I'll try to get you a link or direct quote on it.

Hello csantana,
If you do go through evolve you have to create an account on their website, then click on register for a distance exam and you have to enter HCC'S ID code and it is 200908. They will send you an email and tell you that you have to wait a few days before you can register. Once you get the email they will send you a link to choose a location and date for your test. Hope that helps!
Does anyone know if we can apply yet? I still haven't gotten a hold of anyone in the nursing department and the website isn't updated.
I believe you can apply anytime before April 1st. You might want to just go to the campus. I'm sure you will have better luck in person than over the phone or email. :)

I am taking the HESI on the 21st of this month, so if all goes well I will be applying shortly after :)
@dgarcia Yea I'm gonna shoot for the 20th myself. And will be applying that following Friday. We have to physically turn in the application correct? I also wonder if they will have an info session like they did last year.
Yes, you have to go in person to turn it in and I think we have to go to the ADN office at Coleman but I am not sure what floor they are on. They have info sessions often but if you attended one last year it is valid for one year.
