I was just conditionally accepted into AAS RN program for this school. I started taking pre-reqs Fall of 2019 and it feels like it took forever to get this far. According to the acceptance letter the decision was based on my transcript, TEAS score and reading level rank.
My overall GPA is 3.605. I tanked on the science portion of the TEAS so my overall score on the TEAS was 69%. I'm not sure what my reading rank level is.
This program requires students to attend two mandatory orientations. Upon completion of the mandatory orientations students will than be assigned registration for Spring 2021 Classes.
Best of luck to anyone else working towards getting into nursing school.
Update!
I've learned at the first orientation, must pass a dosage calculation test with an 80 before you are admitted into the RN program at this college. You are allowed take the test twice. Should you fail you would have to wait until Fall semester to reapply to the program again.

Is that dosage calculation given every semester before advancing into the next nursing class? That's how BCC has there's. They call it the progression exam and every nursing student has to take it before the end of the semester to be able to go into the next class, even if you pass the class. 80% pass or better is also required.
