Hospitals Near Rockingham

Does anyone know anything about Richmond Memorial Hospital or Sandhills Regional Medical Center?We are thinking of moving to Rockingham and was wondering which hospital is better for RNs: pay, benefits, schedules, etc.I prefer to work in NICU units, but have experience in Med/Surg and Surg. I prefer the shedule for Surgical, but hate the call time. I see online, that both these hospitals have openings in surgery.Does anyone have any info on either hospital, for an RN w/8 yrs experience?

Have you been to Rockingham??

My son used to live there and it's a really poor area especially since the racetrack closed, imo.

Sorry I don't know anything about the hospitals in the area...

Haven't been there and didn't know the racetrack closed. I did know it's not a booming area. My husband is looking at a church in the area and I'd have to chose between the hospitals in the area.

First Health is larger, but Sandhills is more personal.

Are the pay and benefits packages the same?

I doubt if either hospital has a NICU. RN's would drive to First Health in Moore County if wanting to work NICU. Will try to find info for you.
