Hospitals accepting nurse trainee or volunteer in NCR

Hi there!!! Can anyone give me a list of hospitals here in NCR that have nurse training program/volunteer program? I tried applying in several hospitals here in Cavite but they're still into freeze hiring right now. I passed the board last Feb, and up to now I haven't had any experience. I'm feeling a bit frustrated for several months already. I'm always stacked at home doing nothing. So if there's anyone out there that can suggest any hospitals....

Hi!! Do they still have slots for the next batch (August) in UST and do they require IVT license? I dont have mine yet, just the certificate of attendance. will get mine sometime september. Hope to hear from you guys. Thanks.

I heard they are having an ICU training program but I'm not sure when is it going to start. The MS training will not push through anymore, they cancelled it. I don't know if they accept applicants for training without an IVT license yet.

Try calling the contact number I posted earlier to confirm. The secretary is very accommodating she can correctly answer all your queries :D

I just remembered.... when I had my training there before, 2 of my fellow trainees didn't have an IVT license yet but they were already done with the completion and everything. Just waiting for their cards and certificates. The training office accepted them :D Good luck! :D

Wow? Really. I must have gotten the wrong information. That's a big relief, were they allowed to insert IV's and etc? Thanks for the information, I'm still looking for other hospitals and if i cant find one, Ill get back to them by Sept. for the next rotation. Thanks again. :-)

@infomaniac88

They aren't allowed to initiate peripheral lines but they are allowed to maintain IV infusions, give IV medications and discontinue/remove lines.
