Hospitals accepting nurse trainee or volunteer in NCR

Hi there!!! Can anyone give me a list of hospitals here in NCR that have nurse training program/volunteer program? I tried applying in several hospitals here in Cavite but they're still into freeze hiring right now. I passed the board last Feb, and up to now I haven't had any experience. I'm feeling a bit frustrated for several months already. I'm always stacked at home doing nothing. So if there's anyone out there that can suggest any hospitals....

Hi Guys! Just a heads up. I went to MMC yesterday and the slots for volunteer nurse are already full. They are only accepting 60 heads, still the lady there (Ms. ********) took my credentials and told me to call her this coming Monday to see if I can get in. She said she'll try if someone will back out. Im the 61st applicant, haha!!! The rotation will start August 22nd.

Hello there :) congrats you can now practice your profession. btw could you give us a piece of advice regarding the interview? what are the frequently asked questions? and do they also ask nursing related questions like (etc. Funda, MS) ? thanks :))

hahaha.. No need to review nursing stuffs. It flowed like a call center interview. They throw questions that assess your personality, behavior, and leadership qualities. Be ready for any anecdotes that proves your qualities though. And bring with you a truck-load of confidence and you will definitely pass too.. !

I got a problem..

CCNAPI wont reschedule my ACLS for the 24-26th!.. They even asked me to get a permission from the hospital to let me be absent for that 3 days!!!! and neither they cant process a refund...

I was thinking of selling my slot since it is transferable.. do you guys know anyone who is looking an AHA-ACLS training?? i can definitely give it to you on a cheaper price.. please...

Thank you! There are no nursing concepts involved, just "getting to know you" questions. Tell me something about yourself? etc... Why nursing, and other follow up questions will be based upon your answer, No nursing theories, Medical terms and the likes. There are no right and wrong answers dear, so basically you don't need to review. katakamotenars said it right. Just be confident and don't forget to smile. Break a leg!! You can do it!:yeah:

Oh my God, Yes that's a big problem.. I dont know if the hospital will allow you to be absent, but of course yes you can if you would like but i think our first week will be our orientation, so we need to be there because they will let us know what we're going to do.

Yes, I think selling it to someone is the best option. Aug 24-26 right? Let me ask some of my friends if they would like to avail it, I cant promise but if any one of them will be interested i'll let u know. I'll also post this to other nursing forums.

Actually, the last batch they had interviewed last Aug 11 was already part of the waiting list. We just got lucky that some earlier applicants backed out and gave up their slots. I dont know if they are now accepting applicants for the next batch.

But in my case, I passed my requirements last Aug 4 and when i got there they refused to accept my papers. They advised me to contact them in November and see if by that time they'll be accepting trainees. I insisted to leave my papers with them though and hopefully i did.

You can try and go there as if just inquiring and doesnt know that application is already closed. Then ask when will be the next batch then tell them that youre applying for that next batch.. Its possible that they'll tell you they dont accept applications but be persistent..

^ regarding directions on how to go there, just take LRT1, get off UN Ave. Station.. and from there it is located right behind Mcdonald's
