i had a classmate in lab last term and she went through baptist scholars. she said she loved it. its a small group and you basically have the same people in each class. she also told me they have you work a couple of hours a week. you get a lot of experience and meet a lot of the people you would be working with in the future. sounds awesome to me. :) and of course, the versant program is the max.... she told me she learned like crazy... hope this helps and good luck!
thank you for that info! i didn't know that they had you work, but that is a good idea. the only problem that i had was that don't you have to take your classes at the hospital? i know that nova students who get the scholarship do...that would normally be fine except the hospital is really far away from me.
how great that you are still in high school and are so focused on being a nurse :) so far it has gone great at bc. i am finishing my last pre-req's this semester. i will let you know how the nursing program goes. good luck!
thank you sunshinegirlflorida, i cannot wait to become a nurse so it is easy for me :)

hi all, i have been looking into hospital scholarships for college (where the hospital gives you money and then you work for them after graduation)...does anyone have any recent information about any of the scholarships that are offered in south florida? i am especially interested in the memorial healthcare system scholarship, if anyone has gotten it i would love to hear from you! what is the probability of getting it?
thanks so much, it would be a huge help if you gave me any info on any of these types of scholarships in florida. :)
