I am currently a home care nurse in CT but am moving to Orlando FL in March... Does anyone know approximately what the hourly rates for full time home care nurses is in Orlando? How about the per diem rates for new admissions, medical visits, pysch visits?
Also CT has medication administration visits that the state implemented to benefit psych pt's who are typically non-compliant with meds and would probably end up homeless....does FL have a similar program???? If so what are those rates???
If anyone would like to post rates for other states or locales please do so....you never know when we have to move again!!
Thank you in advance for your help
:)
I am surprised no one has replied. In Connecticut the wages are as follows:
Full or Part Time HHC RN $26/hour
Per Diem Revisit $35
Per Diem SOC $65
Per Diem Pysch Med Admin $27.50
I hope there is someone out there from FL who can help me....we are supposed to move April 1 :balloons:

I AM IN NEW YORK. I WORK IN QUEENS OR MANHATTAN. THE REVISITS RANGE FROM $42 TO $60 DEPENDS ON WHAT KIND OF REVISIT AND THE FACILITY. SOME PLACES PAY SEPERATE FEE FOR ADMISSION, MOST DO NOT. THE ONE THAT DO, GO AS HIGH AS $90. FULL TIME STAFF SALARY ALSO VARY FROM $50,000 TO $76,000 :chuckle
I HOPE TO HEAR FROM OTHER STATES SPECIALLY FL AND GA:coollook:
Our fees are low low low and lowest:
26.00 for a revist
45 for a SOC
way to low

Hi! I am an RN in Orlando. I work full-time at Florida Hospital Home Care. My salary is slightly less than what you posted for FT home care nurse in CT. I do not know what per-diem rates are at my agency and I do not know if we have psych pt med administration visits. I do know that my agency bases salaries on # of years of nursing experience. I have only worked in FL and GA, but I hear that FL RN salaries are less than other parts of the country. However, Florida Hospital has good benefits. I only pay $40/mo for health insurance. This is the 3rd different time I have worked for Florida Hospital since 1988 and I have been pleased with this hospital. Please consider applying for a position with Florida Hospital Home Care.
You Still Have Not Mentioned How Much Rn Or Lpn Get Paid In Fl Or In Orlando Where You Are.

Hi - I'm a visiting nurse (Medicare/SN visits only) in Philadelphia. I'm considering relocating to Manhattan. Can you give me the names of a few good home health agencies in Manhattan, and also an idea of visit rates in Manhattan alone? Also, is a car necessary for Manhattan visits, or do RN's use public transport.? Thanks
