Holy Family University ABSN FAll 2021

Hello everyone. I’m currently doing my last required class (nutrition). I applied to holy family university for 14 months cohort Spring 2021 , but they put me in waitlist and told me that there are few places open for 22 months program starting January 2020 so I applied for that instead. I m wondering if there are student who applied for the same program and how was it?

Hey everyone! I also have submitted my application for fall 2021. My stats are a little low. Overall is 3.4 and my prereq GPA is a 3.0, so I am definitely very nervous. My grades have shown a good upward trend. I did very bad my freshman year but was able to get a 4.0 the past 3 semesters. I work in a doctors office and have a great recommendation so I am hoping that helps at all. Does anyone have any idea when we will hear back? I asked Marie but she did not get back to me. Wishing the best of luck to everyone! Holy family is my top choice so my fingers are crossed.

About 2 hours after actually posting this comment, I did receive my acceptance letter! I am so excited and looking forward to attending Holy Family! Has anyone else heard back? Maybe we can start a facebook group for those who plan to attend!

Also, for those who are not from the area, I can help with any questions about philly, I am from the suburbs, but currently living in the city. The full-time program is at a different location then the part-time, but both are in the NE philly suburbs. The newtown campus might be a little difficult to get to if you were to live in center city as it is about 35-40 minutes away. Good luck everyone!

How long did it take for you to get your decision back?

Super quick, less than a week. I was having trouble getting my transcripts to them from when I took classes at community college, but once they finally received it she told me it was under review. I had most of my application in by early September, but once they received my last transcript it took about 5 days.

Hi everyone! I just got accepted to the Fall 2021 cohort! I am very excited to start this journey! I live right in Bucks County and is about a 15 min drive from my house. I am a current student finishing up my bachelors degree in May 2021. I submitted my application on October 6 and took about a week for my acceptance letter.

Hey guys just so you know, my friend is currently in the program and they got accepted with a 2.9 GPA in Biology, no clinical experience!

Hey everyone! I applied for a May start, not fall, but I was accepted on 9/10! Perhaps I will see some of you around! My stats were: BS in psychology with a focus on life sciences. My undergrad GPA was right around a 3.4 and my prereqs were a 4.0. I also have experience as a facilitator in a mental health practicum working with children and 2 years of research experience in psychology. Good luck to everyone applying! I’ve heard some mixed reviews about the program so sort of anxious but we got it!!

Yes! They love it so much. They actually just finished a rotation at HUP that they really enjoyed.
