I graduated in February! The program was good, I started in January 2020 right before the pandemic hit so that made my experience interesting LOL but overall still very good!! Let me know if you have any specific questions about anything

Hi please does the 36k include books and fees

Would you recommend this school for ABSN? pros & cons? did you do it in person or online? how were classes?

@neurojane Your friend being accepted with an "average" GPA makes me feel like I have a SMALL chance of hope! LOL. So I literally just applied to Holy Family's Spring, 2022 cohort that has an extended deadline. My undergrad (Advertising major/Creative Writing minor) ended with a cumulative 3.0. I'm different in the sense I started college real hot (3.8)...then slowly let myself go. Most have the opposite trend ?. But--what is with most universities just looking at paper these days? I feel as though the in-person interviews don't even mean much ?. Whenever I have a moment of extreme worry, someone reminds me, "do you see some of the nurses they hire in places? If they are nurses, you should be totally fine." My AP professor: "I've had A students that I wouldn't let touch me with a Crayola crayon. I've had C students that went on to be wonderful nurses."

My prerequisite GPA is a 3.24. I'm currently taking an additional Chemistry as a science booster. I'm freaking because I performed well in everything until AP II--prof. did not teach; straight-up blank test with PURE memorization. No other assignments to help raise your grade or reinforce material. I got a D. Re-took immediately over the Summer and earned an A. And of all classes, Nutrition is a C for me (rough semester), but STILL I RISE lmao. Retaking it now. So my 3.24 will hopefully raise by the end of the semester, but obviously no time to wait until then. So my application reads 3.0 undergrad, 3.24 prereq with one retaken major science course. Anyone else with a similar student history?! I'm also very open to the May, 2022 start as well!

Hello!

I am in a similar position as you were and was wondering the outcome of your nursing journey since I see your post was a couple years ago. I currently applied to Roxborough, Harcum and now Holy Family. Any insight or info would be greatly appreciated!

Hi! Sorry for the delay. I've had some health/personal reasons why my journey ended up taking longer/I'm in nursing school currently. I'm at Villanova! Their 23 month flex program. I graduate Spring/Summer time of 2025. I'm not familiar with Roxborough or Harcum, and really don't know much about Holy Family other than that I did not get in. I can say with 100% certainty/confidence that VU is the BEST around. The program and faculty are amazing. This process has taken way longer than I hoped/expected, but it led me to Villanova and I am so grateful. Truly in the best hands. I wish you luck with your journey! Again— check out VU if you haven't  :)
