Holmes ADN

U.S.A. Mississippi

Hey everyone,

I applied for Holmes ADN for fall 2007. I have an 18 ACT, my standardized test scores are never the best. However, I will graduate with my B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics in May with an overall 3.1 GPA. Do you think this will factor in and increase my chances? I'm really worried! I received a letter today and they said applicants should be notified by April 18th.:uhoh3:

I did not recieve anything either! Did anyone get the courage to call them yet?

Nope...Its hard to be patient. I have two little ones that will have to be in daycare/preschool so I am just wanting to get all of my ducks in a row.

I have nothing:angryfire I agree with you...I'm ready to find out so I can get my ducks in a row. Because if I got it I will have to relocate and its so frustrating not knowing what you are going to be doing.

I recieved a letter and was NOT accepted! At least I know now, now I just have to stress out about the LPN program for a couple of months!

I wasn't accepted either. I'm crushed...:sniff:

I'm sorry you guys...I still haven't received anything:-(

thanks...I hope you get good news. The letter said they went by a combination of ACT, GPA, and A&P scores. I hope I hear good news from Grenada.

Thanks but I think that will rule me out because I had only the min. ACT, C's in A&P's, and GPA only 3.0...so I won't get my hopes up. Good luck with Grenada

Wish I could trade my Chemistry grades for A&P...lol

I had a 24 ACT, 2.7 GPA, and B in lecture and A in lab of A&P-don't understand how they can go by a&p when its not required till the summer before starting

I honestly don't think they count ACT as a big factor because when I inquired about applying....they said a weighted average of ACT, GPA plus college hours. So they said if you don't have A&P...it doesn't matter because its not a requirement for admission..just prior to starting. I just think they make up a letter and send

I think you were an ideal candidate because you already have a degree, good ACT, etc...I don't get it
