Holmes ADN

Hey everyone,

I applied for Holmes ADN for fall 2007. I have an 18 ACT, my standardized test scores are never the best. However, I will graduate with my B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics in May with an overall 3.1 GPA. Do you think this will factor in and increase my chances? I'm really worried! I received a letter today and they said applicants should be notified by April 18th.:uhoh3:

I do know that Holmes uses a points system for admissions. The fact you will have a bachelors will help. Good luck!

I don't know if this number is accurate, but I heard that 700 people applied for Holmes ADN program. Now I am even MORE nervous than I was before. :uhoh21: I am driving myself crazy....

Oh my goodness...that is nerve wrecking!! If that many applied we won't hear from them until at least May:o I even found it strange that Hinds had a later deadline and their folks already know if they got in. Thanks for the update! No wonder my friend told me to make sure I got my application in the first day it was available online. I have my fingers crossed for us!

I know, I was checking for it to be available everyday. I put one in for both campuses. Did you receive the letter from Ridgeland that said April 18? I hope they won't make us agonize until May.

Yes, I received that same letter saying the 18th. I been checking the mail everyday hoping they decided early. I just talked to my friend who is currently enrolled at the Ridgeland program....she said she doesn't believe that rumor is true. She said we should be just fine because they have a day and evening program. I hope it all works out.

I'm in second semester at Ridgeland. Last year, I received my letter in May. Patience may be a good thing, but I was just like you guys in April last year. I'd even convinced myself that I didn't get into the program. The day will come, but it does seem like forever waiting. Good luck, to each of you!

nothin....I have been watching for the mail to come like a madman. I am still waiting and getting more crazy every day.

No, I just checked....and I have nothing:sniff: I'm a wreck....I don't know what to expect...I'm trying to prepare myself either way it goes.
