Hi guys! I need help. I am a new registered nurse. Has anyone know a hospital that is hiring for staff nurse or a hospital that has training for new graduate nurses this feb or march 2008? I have inquired in so many hospitals but I had a hard time looking for one. Thank you very much. :balloons:
Updates regarding Our Lady of Lourdes International Medical Center
Training for new nurses have started.
Hiring is still ongoing but they prioritizes their graduates. I'm thinking of moving there if they also have dorms for nurses - just like their hospital here in Pampanga. Dorm is 300/month. I'll have to confirm this first.
Our medical director told us that the hospital will begin operation, tentatively, on October - last week or early November.
If anyone here who'll undergo the training, just post here or drop by the ICU. We could have our mini EB and don't forget to bring something for me.. Ü
from gordon ride the yellow jeep going to victory liner but you'll have to alight at jollibee near the head of apo (ulo ng apo) then walk towards chowking near the victory liner bus station. when you're already in that area you could easily find goldilocks the blue jeep going to baretto is just in front of it. before riding the jeep ask first if it's going to baretto. the fare, i think it's around 10-15 pesos just ask the driver to drop you off at lourdes the new hospital...goodluck!after your interview, could you please post here how it went. after my interview i was just asked if my phone number is active because there will be an exam and another interview. i was just wondering if that is their way of saying "we will just call you", you know what i mean?..
Thanks arvicharlie, they won't let me submit my application anymore because they stopped entertaining nurse applicants effective yesterday... but I "begged for mercy" since I came a looong way... the guy who probably interviewed you heard my plea and gave me the chance to submit my credentials and asked me a few questions and it was late that I've realized that I'm already being interviewed... I really don't know if it went well, but as the cliche goes, they have my number and they'll just call... It's embarassing but I wouldn't waste my 500 bucks of fare without at least handing them over my resume, I don't know if its a plus or a minus point... but I desperately need my 500 pesos to be worth it.

I don't really know how long the training would be but the first batch came in 2nd week of July. Haven't ask them about the examination but as far as I know, there will only be interviews.
And yes, they do have their own nursing school but only 6 students passed the NLE.
Anyway, I think there will be another batch of trainees after this.
There will be a dorm for nurses, but as of now, they don't have it yet.
