Hillsborough Community College Spring 2016 Applicants

I feel like I'd feel better if I knew what the average GPA is between everyone applying. And how many people are applying. I was looking at the forum for fall 2015 applicants and they got their acceptance letters 8 weeks later. I'm hoping we do too haha.

I know that's why I keep asking. I don't want to get on people's nerves though lol I talked to an advisor before I applied and she told me that a 3.4 was the lowest last spring... But she also said many people gave up their seats and alternate choices as low as a 3.3 got in. And I thought they only took around 120 people, but an advisor told me they took 160 something. I hope we get it as soon as possible lol lord knows how impatient I am. Haha

Okay that's not bad! That's why HCC is better than PHSC or SPC. Those colleges only take like 40-70 total.

Welcome! I'm driving my husband crazy as well, but he's use to it! We're all in the same boat with you so talk to us if you need to vent. Which campus are you hoping for?

Plant City campus since that's where I live. Its seems from the other threads that I've read that most people want Dale Mabry, so hopefully I'll get the campus I want! I know those with the highest GPA get their first choose. I'll be crossing my fingers for us all to get what we need! :up:

I saw on my bank statement that my app fee check went through. I haven't seen anything under Web Advisor though.

My document folder doesn't show anything either. I read on the Spring and Fall 2015 threads that it took about a month and a half for theirs to change though. Are any of you guys taking classes in the Fall? I'm signed up for Biology, Human Nutrition,Life Cycle and Spanish II.

It's weird because if you look at the thread for last spring, they found out the first week of September (about 14 weeks later) if they were accepted. But the thread for the most recent class, this coming fall, found out like 7 weeks later. And that was the first class who had to take the TEAS. And fall typically has more applicants. So I'm optimistic but I don't want to get my hopes up.
