Hillsborough Community College Spring 2016 Applicants

Hi everyone!

I know it's a little early, but is anyone out there applying to HCC's Nursing program starting Spring 2016? I am, and I'm dying for this semester to be over so I can submit my app! Just wanted to start the discussion since no one else has!

Hi!!!! I'll be applying for spring as well...After finishing up this semester I should have a 3.8 in my prerequisites...I'm scheduled to take my teas test May 20th which I'm very nervous about....

You will most certainly be fine with a 3.8!! And good luck on the teas, the science portion was very difficult, so to prepare I mostly just reviewed the other parts of the teas, (English, reading, math).

I actually have my teas on the 11th as well! I'm so nervous for that too :/ but Good luck to you as well!!

Where are you taking your teas at? Mine is at the dale mabry campus!

Fine with me lol. I talked to an advisor today, and he told me I had a really good chance. And yes, that was my problem too. I still did good but I know I could have done so much netter if I didn't procrastinate. I am just so ready to turn my application in and see if I get in. It's killing me.

Ok sounds like a plan! Lol! Glad to hear you talked to an advisor about your GPA, that makes me feel a little better!

So the grades are in...looks like I'm applying with a 3.38, I'm embarrassed...not feeling confident whatsoever. I tried so hard, got nothing but A's and B's...ughh, oh well. 😕
