Hillsborough Community College RN program fall 2013

Published

Hello,

I plan to attend to HCC's 2013 fall evening nursing program (applying in Jan). I am curious to see what people people's GPA is going in. I hear spring's is lower than fall's.

Thanks!

Got an alternate letter with a 3.67 Gpa :/ still hopeful but looking at my other options Mann more waiting nooo! Lol guess there's nothing I can do but stay positive wonder what the cut off was this year

So if you get alternate how much longer do you wait?

Not sure they didn't say probably sometime in may the hand book says they will start letting alternates know after the classes have been filled

Oh wow. Got home from school and was doing chores when it dawned on me I didn't check the mail today and there it was!!! I was accepted. Super happy. However, I also do not know which campus I am accepted too. When do we get that info? I would think that would be pretty important to include before submitting the "I accept my seat paper". By the way, for the ones who ask, it came in an HCC letterhead envelope (kind of thick though) and I have a 4.0 gpa. Good luck to everyone and if anybody finds out any info about the campus we were accepted to please post. My first choice was PC night/weekends.

Got my mail late today and I got alternate with a 3.67 gpa. I'm happy that I didnt get denied but it still leaves me hanging by a thread! More waiting for me.

Ok, I guess I got so excited I didn't really read, I just scimmed through letter. Upon actually reading I leared: "Campus Assignments will be forth coming...prior to orientation."

I received my letter today in the early mail and I'm in ????☺congrats and good luck to all.

In with a 3.71

So I just read through the last fall thread and it looked like the majority of alternates got in by mid/end of may so there is lots of hope for us alternates : )

With how high the accepted GPA is this semester I would be willing to bet we lose 5-10 to different programs. I would be very surprised if your 3.67 doesn't get in.

My GPA was 4.0. Looking at previous years' threads, most of the alternates got in...lots of people apply to multiple programs, and don't accept seats...I am so sorry you guys have to wait (this wait has certainly been enough), but keep the faith.

I got in with a 3.8, does anyone know about switching from nights to days, if you even can. Of course I will take what I get but would love to have days PC now.
