Hello! I was wondering if anyone else is planning on applying to the HCC nursing program for the spring of 2018? I just finished this rough semester and I was hoping there would be other people on here that I can talk to about this upcoming goal! (:
Hello,I just submitted my application for the 2018 nursing program. I currently have a 4.0 but my TEAS score was horrible. I got a 62 and was so fed up with that test that I just submitted my app with that score. I don't know if that will harm my changes getting in. Let's see. I noticed the app is in process under webadvisor "my docs"
I think you'll be fine. It is my understanding that they only look at TEAS scores for a tie breaker, and with a 4.0, I'm sure you'll be accepted to the program.

My app is updated under my documents . Nice to know everything has been recieved.. Sylvana. From my understanding the teas score has no bearing on acceptance. They just require a score of 60 or above. From what I heard they look at your prerequisite GPA first and use your overall GPA for a tie breaker.
Hello! So under my docs i see all of this. However, instead of one row reflecting not received, I have 2 rows reflecting not received.
Aside from the row that says under review, the under row that shows the same status is "college"
What does this mean? I'm so nervous!
My friends docs look just like yours. But mine shows 2 rows not received.

Hi everyone, I'm new to this thread. I'm submitting my application tomorrow for Spring 2018.
Just finished my last pre-req last week, ended up with a B in algebra.
After reading through another thread and seeing how high the GPA cut-off was for Fall 2017... I'm nervous as hell. I got all A's and B's in all the pre-reqs, after not taking college courses for several years. I really thought I didn't have too much to worry about, but I knew how competitive the nursing program is.
After all this time and work, I'm sitting at a 3.48 pre-req GPA... and a TEAS score of 87.6 (which apparently doesn't matter much, as long as it's above 60).
I'll also be applying to Pasco-Hernando and Polk State, but HCC is by far my first choice. So, here's hoping! Good luck everyone, the deadline is coming up fast!

HCC doesn't factor teas score but PHSC does.. I don't think it's weighted very heavy in the teas but it is factored in at PHSC. My wife just graduated from the PHSC nursing program .. Your teas score is very good and I know that will help you out at PHSC.
I checked my documents and its finally updated. All of my transcripts, TEAS, consent form, application fee, and application shows received as of 7/10. For reference, I mailed my application on 7/5 and its just now showing up. The only thing that says Not Received is the prereq's most likely because I literally finished the last one last week.
